As a summer adventure my boys (Mason and Cody) and I are going to spend some time exploring the different playgrounds of Whatcom County in the beautiful state of Washington. Our first stop this 
morning was Elizabeth Park. This park is so wonderful because it has something to offer for the whole family. The playground is aimed at 5-11 year olds but it does offer at least 5 different sized slides and toys for toddlers to sit on. It also has 2 regular swings and two toddler swings. Besides the great playground it has a basketball court, tennis court and a gazebo. There are picnic tables scattered all about and the whole park is just beautiful. It can be found at Elizabeth and Madison. I think if you want to spend a day with the whole family then pack a picnic and plan to stay awhile. If you know of any great local playgrounds we can visit please let us know.
